Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) opened Sunday’s trading session on a mixed note amid foreign selling.
By 10:45 am Cairo time, the benchmark EGX30 index slipped 0.10% or 15 points to 13,832.7 points.
The EGX70 index edged up 0.22% to 764.7 points, while The EGX100 index added 0.14% to 1,734.4 points.
The equal-weighted EGX50 index inched down 0.07% to 2,444 points.
Trading volume reached 19 million shares exchanged at a turnover of EGP 71.6 million through 2,800 transactions.
The heavyweight Commercial International Bank (CIB) shed 0.56% to EGP 73.
Foreign investors were net sellers with EGP 4.8 million, while Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 2.8 million and EGP 2 million, respectively.
